Thanks to the email “100 Days” from Nathan Barry, The Lam Art decided that The Lam will make a challenge: “Keeping a Promise a Day, in 100 Days”.

The goal of this challenge is to become a trustworthy person – a version I wanna be.

Day 01 | 14/12/2020

“I will deliver to you early in afternoon.”

It’s 1:25 pm and I haven’t started writing.

Today I failed a litte bit.

Day 02 | 16/12/2020

I will come by 7 pm.”

It’s 6:59 pm and I called my friend. I delivered my promise!

Day 03 | 17/12/2020

“I will see you at 10 am in the coffee shop”.

I arrived by 10:01 am. A-minute-late.

I was not fully satisfied. But it was okay, I loved myself anyway.

The next time, I would set the goal of arriving early 5 mins to avoid this scenerio.

Day 04 | 22/12/2020

“Yes, I will come there to donate my blood.”

Today I talked to a 70-year-old man who help kids have heart surgery for free. I thought I would focus on helping him.

I completed my promise of donating my blood. 350 ml. Then I came home and had a 5-hour sleep.

It was so great to keep a promise.

Day 05 | 23/12/2020

I focus on my task until done.

I can’t focus. It was one of my biggest weakness. So I made a promise to myself: I focus until I get a task done.

For example:

“I focus until I’m done with writing “Keeping 1 Promise a Day, in 100 Days” for today.”

I made my promise!

Day 06 | 26/12/2020

I promised to a friend that I will teach her partnership marketing.

Today I was tired to death after 2 days of intense working, but I tried to wake up early, ate breakfast then went to the coffee shop where I’d meet her.

I kept my promise!
